This custom brake system was designed with a radial caliper adapter, lightweight rotor carrier, 13mm Brembo radial master cylinder and shaved S1000RR brake caliper. The goal of the build was to create a bolt on, lightweight high performance braking system for the CRF. The caliper adapter features a rigid design with provisions for a hall effect wheel speed sensor. The rotor carrier is an FEA validated design that ensures safety and performance are not compromised by the lightweight design. The S1000RR caliper was chosen for its availability.
